Today we get a look at Blake Lively on the set of Oliver Stone’s Savages. Lively has been very busy as of late, flying back and forth from California, were she is filming Savages, and New York, were the actress is filming the 5th season of the CW‘s Gossip Girl.
Lively also had her latest film, Derick Martini’s Hick, premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film was met with incredibly mixed reviews, half loving the film and the other half finding it painful to sit through.
There have been quite a few photos from the set of Savages taken since production began, showing the majority of the cast. This particular photo depicts Lively on the beach, walking along the rocks. It’s a nice shot and all, it just tells us very little about the film.
Savages, which is set to wrap filming soon, is based on Don Winslow’s novel of the same name. The film’s short synopsis reads:
“Pot growers Ben (Aaron Johnson) and Chon (Taylor Kitsch) face off against the Mexican drug cartel who kidnapped their shared girlfriend, O (Blake Lively).”
Oliver Stone’s Savages stars Blake Lively, Aaron Johnson, Taylor Kitsch, Benicio Del Toro, Salma Hayek, Emile Hirsch, Uma Thurman and John Travolta and is due to be released on September 28th, 2012.
