Brie Larson of Captain Marvel has become the latest person to hop aboard the Black Panther hype train. And not a moment too soon.
As T’Challa begins his box office climb in North America – word is the Afrocentric solo movie is headed for an opening weekend in excess of $180 million – Larson took to Twitter (h/t Screen Rant) and urged viewers to take the plunge and purchase tickets for a movie that she considers to be unmissable.
As a matter of fact, the Oscar-winner even went so far as to claim that audiences will be “forever impacted” by Ryan Coogler’s epic, which neatly aligns with our own verdict of Black Panther. In his review, Matt Donato hailed the Marvel movie as a carefully crafted masterstroke that wraps its electrifying action scenes around a timely, powerful political message. It also features one of the greatest Marvel casts ever assembled, and that’s really saying something when you consider that the MCU is now on the verge of its 10th anniversary.
Via Twitter, here’s what Brie Larson had to say about Black Panther:
One of the best things you can do for yourself and/or the ones you love is purchase some #BlackPanther tix. I know it’s expensive to go to the theater, but its worth it for this one. You will exit forever impacted.

And while there have been rumblings that Carol Danvers is set to make her MCU debut in Avengers: Infinity War (an after-credits scene, perhaps?), we’re more inclined to believe that Joe and Anthony Russo will hold fire until 2019, when Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 are poised to open with three months of one another.
Either way, it won’t be too long before the king of Wakanda crosses paths with Captain Marvel on the big screen, and what a sight that’ll be. However, up first is the theatrical launch of Black Panther, and it appears the MCU’s latest installment is already off to a flyer.
