Production on next year’s Baywatch movie is beginning to wind down, with Dwayne Johnson taking to Instagram to announce that principal photography on Paramount’s R-rated movie has wrapped.

To celebrate the occasion, the studio also rolled out a pair of images that bring together the “Avengers of the beach” for one last action shot before release, and it’s Johnson leading the charge as lifeguard vet Mitch Buchannon

In tandem with the Instagram post, the actor posted a heartfelt message thanking the production crew that helped stage some of the movie’s blockbuster stunt sequences:

“Months of hard work, passion and brilliance from the backbone of Hollywood – the crew. We got lucky to have such amazing, talented, crazy filmmakers. We made a great one and couldn’t have done it without you. Luv y’all and I’ll see you down that lonesome road. #OfficialWrap #1Crew #BAYWATCH”

Rubbing shoulders with Johnson’s towering Mitch are Jon Bass, Alex Daddario, Zac Efron, Kelly Rohrbach and Ilfenesh Hadera, who pull together in the face of a criminal plot staged by Priyanka Chopra’s big bad to bring ruination to the sun-kissed Bay. Also on board for the summer shenanigans are a handful of old faces, including Pamela Anderson, Rob Huebel, Belinda, Jack Kesy, Amin Joseph and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

Directed by Seth Gordon of Horrible Bosses fame, Baywatch is now one year out from release with Paramount’s reboot due to arrive on May 19, 2017, opening against Warner Bros.’ anticipated horror sequel Annabelle 2.
