If you’re getting sick of all the set photos and videos from The Dark Knight Rises, then how about a change? Why not take a look at some photos and videos from the set of 2012’s other mammoth film, The Avengers.
The footage here shows off star Chris Evans playing Captain America. He’s wearing what looks to be a more modern costume and from the looks of it, he’s fighting off a pretty large attack. Explosions are going off and NYPD cars are everywhere. My question is, where are his fellow allies? Why isn’t Iron Man with him? Or Thor?
Also seen in one of the pictures is some kind of alien weaponry, which lends credence to the rumors about aliens being incorporated into the film somehow. Comic Book Movie says that an extra on set has confirmed this.
“Today was my first day of work as an extra on the movie [The] Avengers. There was a great deal of sitting around, but it was thrilling during the street scene. We were running and screaming from the invasion of aliens or some force.”
What does this mean for the villains of the film? Knowing that they’re aliens, does it narrow it down at all? Which characters do you think will show up as villains?
