The mystical hammer was vaporized by the villainous Hela in Thor: Ragnarok, leaving Marvel’s God of Thunder in quite the predicament as we approach the release of Avengers: Infinity War.

We’ve known for a while that the Asgardian hero would be arming himself with a pretty cool replacement – a hammer/axe hybrid called Stormbreaker – and while the likes of concept art and LEGO sets have given us a glimpse of it, this newly-unveiled Hasbro toy offers up our best look at the weapon yet. Admittedly, it’s the same one which surfaced a few weeks back, but these are much better photos as they come straight from the company itself and aren’t low-res leaks.

Looks pretty badass, eh? We previously learned that the God of Thunder would craft Stormbreaker himself, but the wooden handle actually comes from Groot. You can see that here, too, as it’s long and winding, like an organic piece of wood.

As we know, Chris Hemsworth’s fan favorite will team up with Groot and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy in Infinity War, with the trailer revealing that Thor, Rocket and Groot will go off on their own side mission during the movie – no doubt in search of a new weapon. The exact specifics of how the hero gets his hands on it aren’t clear just yet, but it seems that Thor won’t be the only Avenger receiving an upgrade.

In the aftermath of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will be suiting up as the Iron Spider, while we fully expect Tony Stark to be bringing along some new enhancements of his own. Oh, and did we mention Cap will have an upgraded shield, as well?

The Sanctuary II (AKA Thanos’ gargantuan warship) is armed and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are manning the defenses – all that’s left now is for Avengers: Infinity War to make its debut and at this stage, May 4th can’t come quick enough.
