Right now, most Marvel fans are doing a pretty good job at watching what they say on social media, but sooner or later, we’ll need to be able to talk openly about Avengers: Endgame. After all, this movie isn’t going to meme itself.
As it turns out, Anthony and Joe Russo have a specific date in mind for when it’s okay to discuss the Avengers: Infinity War sequel’s biggest reveals. On their joint Twitter account, the pair shared an excerpt from their recent appearance on Good Morning America, where they announced that the movie’s spoiler ban will officially lift on Monday.
This means that spoiler-conscious fans still have one more weekend to see Endgame for themselves. After that, we’re just going to assume that you’ve either watched the film or aren’t particularly fussed about knowing all the details.

To be honest, the Russo Brothers could’ve said that the spoiler ban lifts today and most fans probably wouldn’t have objected. To elaborate, the film just had the biggest opening weekend on record, grossing a global total of $1.222 billion. Since then, Endgame has taken that figure up to $1.639 billion, making it the sixth highest grossing movie of all time. In other words, an insanely huge number of people already know how the story ends.
Incidentally, next week is also expected to see the release of the next Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer. If the movie’s marketing is operating by Russo Brothers rules, then perhaps the preview will contain a few references to the events of Avengers: Endgame. Either way, the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel will have some pretty messy consequences to deal with when it arrives in theaters on July 2nd.
