10 Moments From Avengers: Age Of Ultron That You’ll Watch Again And Again

Regardless of whether you actually like Avengers: Age of Ultron or not, the film was always going to be Marvel's crowning achievement thus far, building upon the phenomenal success of the first Avengers film. Joss Whedon had a monumental task on his hands assembling the numerous components in Age of Ultron, but even his detractors have a lot of positive things to say about the movie. With so much happening at once though, it's easy to miss certain aspects of the film the first time round, making Age of Ultron one of the most re-watchable Marvel movies yet.

At this point, what more can we really say about Marvel's hugely-anticipated sequel? We've been inundated with marketing material over the last several months and it seems like almost the entire world is waiting with baited breath to see what the studio has cooked up here. Simply put, Avengers: Age of Ultron is a sequel to one of the biggest movies of all-time and a hugely important film for Marvel, the comic book movie genre and cinema as a whole. Whatever you do, don't miss this one.

Early promotional material focused heavily on Tony Stark’s use of his new Hulkbuster armour, which basically looks like Iron Man piled on the pounds Christian Bale style for an award baiting role. Unfortunately for the hi-tech superhero though, an Oscar win probably isn’t on the cards any time soon.

Let’s face it, there’s nothing better than superheroes mindlessly fighting each other for the flimsiest of reasons, so understandably, a lot of the hype surrounding Avengers: Age of Ultron circled around the fight between Stark and an enraged Hulk. Those expecting Banner to ‘Hulk Smash’ Stark into an Iron Man shaped smudge on the wall may be surprised by how balanced the fight is between the two, despite Tony’s obvious reluctance to battle his friend and ally.

There are many standout moments from this particular encounter, but the one that stays in your mind longest after the credits have rolled is the scene where Stark jack-hammers the Hulk repeatedly in the face, desperately pleading with him to go to sleep. Many critics deride Avengers: Age of Ultron for being less light-hearted than the first film, but rare moments like this still raised a lot of laughter.
