Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost is nothing if not mysterious.
She’s a figure whose roots can be traced back to the Quantum Realm, and she may have more in common with Ant-Man and the Wasp‘s [SPOILERS] than we’ve been led to believe.
But beyond 2018, what are the chances of Hannah John-Kamen returning to the MCU for another role? Pretty slim, we imagine, but that hasn’t curbed her enthusiasm. Currently out promoting Ant-Man and the Wasp and her performance as the elusive Ghost, John-Kamen sat down with Screen Rant to discuss the possibility of a Marvel-backed Thunderbolts movie, and why she wouldn’t think twice about signing on.
That would be fun! That would be fun. I think, you know, as well, in the original comics Ghost was with Iron Man, it was actually originally Iron Man (villain), you know, and I actually went when I was in Atlanta, went actually bought the Thunderbolts comic books. Um, I mean with any Marvel character whatever happens to them, you always go the possibility is endless. And with me it would be an honor to work with any of the heroes, and any of the antagonist, and any of the things in the Marvel Universe. I mean, yeah, that would be amazing!?
In the comics, the Thunderbolts team-up just so happens to involve Baron Zemo (Daniel Brühl) and Luke Cage (Mike Colter), two characters who are still alive and well in the wider Marvel universe. Of course, the Powers That Be over at Marvel Studios would have to make an exception so that Cage, a character synonymous with the company’s Netflix portfolio, could cross over into the movie-verse.
It’s certainly not for lack of interest, as the Marvel fanbase has been crying out for a movie/TV crossover for generations. Perhaps Thunderbolts could be the one film to get the ball rolling? Time will tell.
