LEGO Batman
While his more slightly canon counterpart is a super-serious, glum chum, the Brick Knight is everyone’s favorite one-line-dropping superhero. After all, name me one person who didn’t laugh when the password to the Batcave was revealed to be “Iron Man sucks” in The LEGO Batman Movie? Okay, maybe Robert Downey Jr. and Kevin Feige didn’t appreciate it so much.
You see, Deadpool is in-your-face funny, while LEGO Batman prefers the tongue-in-cheek approach. Humor shouldn’t always be a case of “look at how funny this is because I’m telling you”; it should be “this is funny because it actually is.” And this is what the Caped Crusader brings to the party in his snaptastic adventures.
With tons of references and a complete self-unawareness, LEGO Batman rocks the comedy as hard as he does the beatdowns. He’s not only capable of smacking them with batarangs, but he’s equally adept at dropping them with his gags, too.
