Jack Nicholson In The Witches of Eastwick
Jack Nicholson as the devil just makes sense. We saw brief glimpses of that in The Shining, and knew he had the capacity to fully throw himself into any character he played. But Nicholson plays it a lot like Pacino (technically, Pacino played it a lot like Nicholson, who did it first chronologically) in the sense that he starts off in The Witches of Eastwick as a seductive, cool, captivating man who gets what he wants, no matter what.
But by the end of the film, we see him regress more and more into the creature we see above. Again, an incredible actor was given an incredible speech to allow his true inner devil to shine through. One thing you can say about devil portrayals on film is that they always get the BEST monologues.
So remember kids, Satan is bad and God is good, but if you want stuff, you call on the first guy.
