Nato And Remy’s Last Stand: 2013 Horror Characters We’d Love To See Return Someday

In this week's article, we decided to focus on those characters who kicked the door down and demanded your undivided attention, in some cases carrying a horror film by themselves. These characters were crafted with deep roots, brought to life by phenomenal performances, and made a lasting impression on audiences - everything you could ask for in ANY genre cast.

Simon Killer is the best movie from 2013 that too few people saw. I fear that by explaining too much of it I will ruin it, and one of my rules as a writer and lover of films is that I try to avoid that. So I will be as vague as I can be while still painting you a picture of why I would want to spend more time with Simon, the titular character from this haunting film.

Simon Killer is about a man named Simon who ends up in France after a nasty breakup with his girlfriend. In France, new moments unfold, and he meets a French prostitute who he begins a relationship with. We slowly see that Simon is a bit of a wounded soul, with a past that seems like it may be a bit cryptic. The more time we spend with him, the more we realize that we don’t know anything about him. Him being the lead means we take everything he says as fact, though we forget to realize that he may only be saying certain things to get his own needs met. Once you realize how much of a liar and deviant Simon is, it makes you look back on earlier parts of the film with different eyes. So really, in this case, I want a prequel.

I want the FULL story of what happened right before Simon came to France. What REALLY happened with his girlfriend? Why did he end up in France, specifically. Simon Killer was a dark and layered film, and I wouldn’t mind peeling back some more layers.
