2) Joker Interrogation – The Dark Knight
What would Batman be without the Joker?
Yes, we love the Dark Knight for his own character as well, of course, but it helps that he has the most iconic supervillain in comic book history to spar against. Likewise, the confrontations between the Bat and the Clown have produced some truly amazing movie moments. While Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson’s dynamic in 1989’s Batman was terrific, there’s no beating that of Christian Bale and Heath Ledger.
We could pick any of the Batman/Joker scenes in The Dark Knight, but the best has to be the famed moment where Batman interrogates the Joker for the location of Harvey Dent and Rachel Dawes. It’s an incredibly tense and dramatic sequences that is full of iconic exchanges. With shades of The Killing Joke, it nails the Batman and the Joker’s eternal rivalry and demonstrates how the Clown Prince gets under Batman’s skin – or cowl – like no one else.
