Thank god then for the animators and filmmakers who take pity on exhausted mothers and fathers everywhere by inserting adult jokes into kid's movies. When the third nappy needs changing and the twins won't stop their sodding arguing, even the most basic, puerile sex joke can give parents the boost they need to keep on going with their fourth Tinkerbell movie in a row.

When the MPAA originally designated what could be allowed in a PG-13 movie, I’m sure the majority of the board didn’t mention used condoms, but somehow, the censors who rated The Mask thought that kids could handle semen-filled latex pouches used to prevent them from gaining unwanted brothers and sisters. Oh, and STIs. Can’t forget those!

The moment in question comes when The Mask becomes a balloon animal artist in order to disarm a group of thugs intent on attacking him… as you would. After making a balloon giraffe, The Mask pulls out a used condom, but quickly realizes his mistake and laughs it off. “Sorry, wrong pocket.”

Sure, it’s extremely inappropriate/hilarious for The Mask to whip out a used condom like that, but what I want to know is why the hell did he feel the need to keep it in the first place? Was The Mask on the way to the sperm bank to make a deposit? Or was it just a fetish gone too far?
