2) Deathstroke
Fans were whipped into a frenzy when it was revealed that Deathstroke would be coming to the DCEU last year. As played by Joe Manganiello, the supervillain was said to be the main antagonist of The Batman. Since then, however, Matt Reeves’ film has undergone a major shaking-up, which has left Deathstroke’s future in the franchise in doubt. However, there is one thing that we’re pretty sure we can count on: a Deathstroke cameo in Justice League.
The fuel for this theory comes from an image Zack Snyder shared on Twitter a few months ago of him examining a storyboard for the movie. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the storyboard seemed to feature a costumed Deathstroke. Snyder must have known what he was doing when he posted the picture, and if this isn’t a confirmation that the assassin will appear in the movie, then I don’t know what is.
We’ve no idea how the character would fit into what we know of the film’s narrative, but hey, if it gives us an awesome action sequence where the League face off against the Terminator, then we’re all for it.
