Perhaps the second best easter egg in this trailer (I’m sure you can guess the best one) is the sight of Ant-Man attacking Iron Man by hitching a ride on Hawkeye’s arrow. Apart from a great and unexpected team-up between heroes, this is a nod to a fan-favourite event from the comics, one that adorned a cover of an issue of The Avengers.

And, though we don’t see any evidence for it in the trailer, could Ant-Man’s redesigned suit now have the abilities to turn him into Giant Man, his other alter ego in the comics? Or, do we have to wait until Ant-Man and The Wasp for that to happen?
