With the release of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Unity just around the corner, rumours of an Xbox One bundle being shipped with the game have been leaked, according to a report on GameSpot. While Microsoft have yet to confirm whether the bundle is genuine, details have emerged on VG Leaks, along with two screenshots advertising the console deal on Austrian retailer site, Gameware.
There will allegedly be two bundles available, according to the leaks. While both will come with a black 500GB Xbox One console and a copy of the latest Assassins Creed – as well as a copy of the previous game, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – one bundle will also come with the Kinect hardware, and will be priced at around 510 Euros (roughly £413 or $660). The Kinect-less package is set to be priced at one hundred Euros less.
With under a month to go until Assassins Creed Unity hits shelves, fans will no doubt be awaiting any news about a possible bundle. Given the popularity of the series, the launch of a console package deal will be eagerly anticipated, especially with Christmas on the horizon. However, until either Microsoft or Ubisoft (or both) come forward to either confirm or deny the rumours, gamers can only speculate at this point.
Assassin’s Creed Unity is the seventh instalment in the popular historical adventure franchise. It will also mark the first title in the series that will allow players to customise their characters, as well as their armour and weapons. The game will be launched on November 11th in the US and November 13th in Europe, and will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows.
