Ubisoft is set to expand the in-game world of Watch Dogs with the title’s maiden DLC, Bad Blood, which will be available for Season Pass holders and the general public on September 23rd and September 30th, respectively.
As many had assumed, the add-on content will allow players to step into the shoes of one Raymond Kennedy — better known as his hacker alias, T-Bone — for a bite-sized campaign that will encompass ten story missions.
Here’s the official synopsis from Ubisoft:
“Shortly after the events of Watch_Dogs, Raymond “T-Bone” Kenney infiltrates Blume one last time to plant a false trail in their system. Before he can disappear from the grid, he receives a panicked phone call from Tobias Frewer, a former colleague from Blume’s ctOS prototype days, who’s in desperate need of help. Putting his own escape at risk, T-Bone decides to help, but quickly realises the details of his old friend’s story aren’t adding up.”
Ever the fan of devious contraptions, T-Bone will also be able to utilise a remote-controlled car, Eugene, for a host of offensive and defensive purposes; in fact, the little gizmo can even be upgraded as you progress through the downloadable content.
Aside from that, Bad Blood will also introduce players to a new in-game feature. Entitled Street Sweep contracts, the side-missions will essentially offer users new challenges that can be completed with a friend. Moreover, online hacking modes make a reappearance from the core campaign, and budding hackers can also look forward to new weapons, outfits and perks.
Watch Dogs: Bad Blood is set to launch first for Season Pass owners on September 23rd before getting a full release on September 30th.
