With a rock solid parkour system allowing you to traverse the crumbling remains of the city of Harran, Dying Light told a story through its big open world which, when day turned to night, unleashed unspeakable nasties that could rip you to shreds.

Elsewhere, melee combat was solid, shooting was fun, and the visuals were top notch. But it was the world building that made Dying Light such a joy to play, and with its seamless multiplayer integration, you could hop in and out of cooperative play with ease.

As a follow up to Dead Island, Dying Light represented an enormous tonal shift but it also treated you to a vastly superior experience. In fact, an estimated 500,000 people are still playing it week in, week out to this day.
