One of biggest releases scheduled for this fall will now get the bundle treatment, as Sony announced today that a PlayStation 4 bundle featuring Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will hit shelves next month. Similar to fellow PS4 bundles, the package will carry a cost of $399.
Set to be released on October 9th, the bundle comes packed with a 500GB PS4 console, as well as the HD compilation. Bringing the single-player campaigns for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception together, The Nathan Drake Collection is the perfect chance for games who skipped the PS3 to experience Naughty Dog’s globe-trotting franchise.
This bundle is just one of several options gamers have when it comes to picking up a PlayStation 4 now. Fellow Naughty Dog release The Last of Us Remastered, Batman: Arkham Knight and the upcoming Destiny: The Taken King are just a few of the games that can be acquired alongside the console. Technically, though, The Nathan Drake Collection is three games, so if you really think about it, it’s a better deal.
Despite the fact that I have already played and completed all three PS3 Uncharted titles, I’m excited to jump back into Nathan Drake’s world. With Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not set to be released until March 2016, it’s the perfect time for me to relive one of the more memorable franchises from the past console generation.
Both Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and the PlayStation 4 bundle featuring the title will launch on October 9th.
