To commemorate the ten-year anniversary of the Far Cry series, Ubisoft has released details on a bundle for the open-world franchise. Entitled Far Cry Collection, the compilation will include Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3 and last year’s stand-alone psychedelic expansion, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, and is poised for release in the US on February 11th, 2014.

Though the bundle will also be released across Europe, Ubisoft has confirmed that the collection will be distributed slightly differently in the territory. Instead, it will be sold as Far Cry: The Wild Expedition and, unlike its North American counterpart, will feature Far Cry Classic too. Furthermore, the publisher announced the pricing details for the European version, with the four-game pack retailing at £29.99 upon launch.

And while it’s abundantly clear that Ubisoft is working on Far Cry 4 for next-gen (current-gen?) systems, this bundle is a good an opportunity as any to visit the studio’s prestigious FPS series. What started out as a humble PC shooter in 2004 has extrapolated into a multi-platform property with an appealing mix of open-world exploration and refined shooting mechanics. In fact, Far Cry 3 was hailed as the pinnacle of the series back in 2012, with Rook Islands providing the perfect setting for a tropical, albeit unconventional paradise.

Far Cry Collection will debut for the US on February 11, 2014 for $39.99. On the other side of the Atlantic, though, Ubisoft’s open-world showcase will hit PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC as Far Cry: The Wild Expedition.
