With this week’s beta due to commence on Xbox One first on Thursday, January 28, Ubisoft has divulged new details regarding The Division‘s evolution from last year’s alpha build.
In an official blog post, the publisher’s Community Manager provided a play-by-play breakdown of the tweaks to gameplay, user interface and the in-game Dark Zones. As for the eye-watering number of bugs, potential glitches that have been corrected include floating characters, missing objectives and problems with the game’s map.
In terms of the beta, following a 24-hour headstart on Microsoft’s platform, the early test will expand to PS4 and PC on January 29 before concluding across all platforms on January 31.
You can get the comprehensive breakdown of Ubisoft’s improvements below. Following this weekend’s beta, The Division will launch across PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 8, though we’d recommend consulting with the minimum and recommended specifications before picking up the online shooter on the latter platform.
