After being confirmed months ago, Telltales Games has revealed that the current-gen ports of both seasons of The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us will begin rolling out next month. The two critically acclaimed tales are already available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
Scheduled to arrive first will be The Walking Dead: Season One, which will come to the PS4 and Xbox One in October. The following month will see the release of the recently-wrapped The Walking Dead: Season Two. The retail release of that title will be made availableĀ on the two aforementioned current-gen consoles, as well as the Xbox 360, PS3 and PlayStation Vita.
In non-zombie related gaming, the first season of The Wolf Among Us will also be released in November. The hit adaptation of the Fables comic series will be released on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PS Vita.
While we definitely know the month in which each of these titles will be released, Telltale Games has not revealed specific dates for either of them yet. We will be sure to update yon on them when they are revealed, though.
I said it back when these retail releases were first announced, but I’m pretty excited to get my hands on these current-gen ports. Like many, I was a huge fan of The Walking Dead: Season One, but I haven’t gotten around to playing through The Walking Dead: Season Two or The Wolf Among Us yet. However, these current-gen ports are more than enough for me to jump right back into the world of Telltale Games’ episodic adventures.
