When Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack launched alongside Sony’s PlayStation Vita, it quickly became one of the portable’s first must-play titles. In fact, the quirky puzzle-platforming sequel was so good that I feel bad for those who’ve yet to play it. Granted, the fact that the game is only out for one handheld at the moment limits its audience. Thankfully, that’s about to change.
This weekend, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack developer DrinkBox Studios announced that its acclaimed downloadable title will invade Steam on August 15. That’s definitely a good thing since it will provide a gigantic audience with a chance to play one of the year’s best titles using a mouse and keyboard interface.
If you would like to sign up to beta test this port, then you can certainly do so. Conversely, those living in Europe who would rather play the game on its native Vita will be happy to hear that it’s currently on-sale. Then again, it was never expensive to begin with, and was a steal from day one.
