It’s that time of the year again.
Prices will be slashed to tantalizingly low levels, wallets will be emptied and sales will go through the roof. Yeah, it’s the Steam Summer Sale. Just like last year, it looks like dates for the annual ‘everything must be bought’ sale have been leaked ahead of the official start date.
What are those dates, you ask? Well, if the leak is to be believed, the sale will run from June 11 to June 20 – nine full days of deliciously cheap games for everyone to get their hands on.
Last year’s sale saw the introduction of the Steam Summer Adventure, a pseudo-competition that let gamers collect, trade and assemble different cards to earn extra rewards and bonuses for their purchases. No word from Valve on whether the feature will be returning this year, but stay tuned for more updates.
In the meantime, let us know what games you’re hoping to pick up on the Steam Summer Sale in the comments section below.
