Fans of challenging video games have been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to perform spectacular feats in a short amount of time, with Trials Evolution. The bike-based stunt sequel has just received a “Spring 2012” release window, meaning that it’s not far off.
Series veterans can now start to cushion their walls, in the hope that thrown controllers won’t shatter into pieces when the game releases. Its predecessor, Trials HD was just a teensy bit frustrating at times.
While the aforementioned release date news is huge in and of itself, we have something even better for you. Series developer, RedLynx, has released a high-flying promotional trailer for its arcade stunt experience. What it shows us is a new LittleBigPlanet-esque level (and game) creation suite.
On top of creating challenging tracks for friends, gamers will now have the option to make their own arcade games. What’s nice is that genres aren’t limited, meaning that this motorcycle physics game can lead to the creation of a first-person shooter or a top-down racer.
