The highly anticipated Splatoon 3 made a showing at today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, with a preview into an updated game mode.

The publisher previewed gameplay updates to their ink-based shooter’s co-op mode, Salmon Run: Next Wave, coming in the sequel. The survival minigame will feature new Boss Salmonid like the towering Fish Stick and aptly named Flipper-Flpper.
To deal with these foes, Players can now throw coveted Eggs to each other, while the squids and octolings will have access to powerful mounted weapons to splat with.
