Hope you’re up for some new collections of games! This morning, Sony announced their new Collections line of releases, beginning with three heavy-hitters at the end of the month.
Coming August 28 is the Ratchet and Clank collection, (which we already knew about), the rumored God of War Saga collection and an inFamous collection.
The PlayStation Blog breaks down all the details. Not only are you getting a ton of games for $30-$40, but there’s a bit of bonus content as well:
God of War Saga
- God of War
- God of War II
- God of War III
- God of War: Origins Collection (which includes God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta)
- Exclusive Bonus Content
- Voucher For 1 Trial Month of PlayStation Plus
- Remastered for HD, DUALSHOCK Control, Full PlayStation Network Trophy Support and 3D (3D supported only in God of War: Origins Collection)
inFAMOUS Collection
- inFAMOUS
- inFAMOUS 2
- inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood
- Extra missions
- Additional character costumes, power ups and weapon styles
It should be noted that they’ve confirmed the God of War Saga will include two separate discs for God of War III and the HD collection containing the first two games, while the Origins collection, which has both the PSP titles, will be included in as a download voucher. But still, $40 for the entirety of one of the greatest franchises in video game history? Not a bad deal!
