According to an image sent to Kotaku this past weekend, Ubisoft is planning to launch a “Season Pass” pre-order campaign for the DLC associated with Assassin’s Creed III.

The image is reportedly of a flyer sent out to GameStop employees thanking them for their work in hitting Ubisoft’s pre-order goals for the upcoming game. The company states that they are “in the process of creating a complementary development team” that has been put together to start working on “post-launch episodic content”, that will “set the bar for quality DLC in [the] industry.”

Ubisoft then tells the GameStop employees that they will soon offering a “Season Pass” for the planned DLC, and would like their help “in informing pre-order customers that a better value is available for those who pre-order Assassin’s Creed with the Season Pass.”

Assuming the flyer is legitimate, it would see to indicate that Ubisoft has extensive DLC plans for Assassin’s Creed III. Unfortunately, it doesn’t go into any details about the DLC or give any indication as to how much customers can save by pre-ordering.

Until Ubisoft officially announces their DLC plans for Assassin’s Creed III consider this a rumor. As soon as something official is revealed we will let you know.
