Psyonix’s wonderfully addictive and critically acclaimed Rocket League could be making a beeline for Xbox One, if a game rating spotted on Taiwan’s database is to be believed.
Currently available across PC and PlayStation 4 only, word of the studio’s blistering genre mash-up making the jump to new platforms has surfaced before, with Psyonix admitting it was open to the notion of porting the game. According to the now-pulled listing, it would seem an announcement is now imminent.

Launching via PlayStation Plus during the summer, Rocket League shot to fame thanks its crisp visuals and razor-sharp controls. Since then, it’s been supported with a string of free and paid-for DLC, with everything from a Back to the Future-themed add-on to the recently-released Portal cosmetics. Moreover, the title has also carved out an eSports scene – it’s little wonder, too, considering just how competitive the multiplayer component can become.
After flirting with the idea back in August, it would appear that Psyonix is on the verge of bringing Rocket League to Microsoft’s flagship hardware. Xbox One owners, get ready to start those engines.
