Pre-orders for Final Fantasy XIV‘s upcoming Stormblood expansion are now open, Square Enix has confirmed. Officially announced during last year’s Fan Festival in Las Vegas, the follow-up to 2015’s Heavensward promises to include a generous helping of new content for the MMO, including new Jobs, dungeons, raids and an increased level cap for all existing classes. As of now, classic class Red Mage is the only new role confirmed for the add-on, but fans can expect at least one more to be revealed next month at the third and final Fan Festival to be held in Frankfurt, Germany.
Stormblood will see the player character’s Warrior of Light travel to Ala Mhigo, a nation that’s been subjugated by the technologically advanced Garlean Empire, in order to liberate its people and bring freedom to the state. There are a few different options available to those that pre-order the expansion, including a plush Collector’s Edition that, among other things, includes an “Expertly Crafted Zenos yae Galvus Figure.”
You can check out the full contents of the limited edition below, which will set you back a whopping $199.99, should you chose to secure a copy via the Square Enix store.
If you’d rather save your cash for other things, standard and digital collector’s editions are also up for pre-order, the latter of which includes a few neat extras, including an in-game mount. Regardless of which version you opt for, all pre-orders will include early access to the expansion, a Red Mage minion and a pair of cosmetic earrings. Early access is scheduled to begin June 16. Final Fantasy XIV‘s Stormblood expansion launches in full on June 20 for PlayStation 4 and PC. Those currently playing on PlayStation 3 will need to upgrade to one of the aforementioned platforms in order to experience the new content.
