PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 users have received their second Far Cry 4 update, which aims to fix some known bugs within the game. On the official Ubisoft website, the company announced that the patch was released sooner than expected, saying:
This is earlier than we anticipated and we’re pleased to be able to offer a number of fixes that should remedy many of the problems faced by our users since launch. As we go into the weekend, we hope to provide a smoother experience for our fans.
While there is no word yet about any possible patch for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of Far Cry 4, reports indicate that a fix for the PC port is expected sometime this week. The Windows patch will hopefully rectify a bug in the game which crashes to a black screen whenever an external USB device is detected.
