Hot off the announcement of a trilogy compilation for the Mass Effect series, BioWare is continuing to update Mass Effect 3, the latest entry, through a downloadable patch currently scheduled for release sometime this week.
The developer stated that they are aiming for the patch to be released on Thursday, but no specific date was confirmed. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players will be prompted to download the patch automatically upon starting up the game, while PC users will have to manually download the patch via the Origin gaming service.
The patch addresses numerous bugs and errors experienced by some players, including console-specific crash issues, and revamps various aspects of the Singularity power.
A full list of the included updates can be read on the official BioWare forum.
