Origin Auto Adds EA Games You’ve Bought Through Steam – Less Creepy Than It Sounds

EA uses Origin to spy on your computer for...good? I can’t say I was really expecting this to be honest. A forum post on Day One Patch revealed that Origin can see that you’ve bought EA titles through Steam and will then add them to your Origin account.

While I haven’t had anything fun pop up for me yet, readers are reporting that Dead Space 2 is showing up quite often on their game list. EA is using its power for good, and doing an incredible job marketing its own titles in the process.
