Sqaure Enix’s supernatural mystery, Murdered: Soul Suspect, has officially been dated. Coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC, the thriller will be launching on June 3rd in North America and across the pond on June 6th.
In Murdered: Soul Suspect, you play as Ronan O’Connor, a Salem police detective with a shady past who has just been brutally murdered. Finding himself trapped in a limbo known as Dusk, Ronan must solve the mystery of his murder before he can truly find peace in death.
In addition to the release date, Square Enix also announced a special bonus for those that pre-order the title from either Amazon, GameStop, Target, Best Buy or WalMart. Said bonus will be a digital interactive map that can be accessed via computer or tablet which will help players discover various secrets and quests located throughout Salem.
We haven’t seen a ton of footage from Murdered: Soul Suspect just yet, so I’m a little surprised that it is arriving relatively soon. That being said, I’m excited that Square Enix is taking a chance on a new IP which looks to be pretty unique and as of now, I have very high hopes for this one.
We will continue to have coverage of Murdered: Soul Suspect in the months leading towards its June 3rd release date.
