With the Season Pass disc now lining retail shelves, developer Telltale Games is quietly turning attention to the sophomore outing of Batman: The Telltale Series, the episodic take on Gotham’s Dark Knight that places as much attention on Bruce Wayne as it does the Caped Crusader himself – often resulting in compelling, well-written story arcs with engaging moral choices to boot, as our review of Realm of Shadows attests.
But 2016 marches on, and the latest episode to take flight from Telltale is entitled Children of Arkham. To drum up excitement ahead of next week’s premiere, the studio has now rolled out the teasing first images of Troy Baker’s masked vigilante back in action who, alongside Laura Bailey’s Catwoman, prepares to do battle with Joe Chill, Blockbuster, and Oswald Cobblepot – better known to you, I, and the people of Gotham as the conniving Penguin.
[zergpaid]Look for Batman: The Telltale Series Episode 2 – Children of Arkham to touch down for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 20. We’ll update this post if and when Telltale lock down release dates for additional platforms – namely Android, iOS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Mac.
Those in the States will have already received the retail release, which bundles together the pilot episode, Realm of Shadows, with each new installment becoming available digitally as Telltale churns them out. Across the pond, Batman: The Telltale Series will swoop onto store shelves come Friday, September 16 priced at £25.
