A foreboding poster featuring art work of DC characters Batman and The Flash has started circulating online today, and if that didn’t make the existence of an Injustice 2 obvious enough, there’s even some rather telling text adorning the foot of the poster.
Having first popped-up on Twitter user ONE Dead Gamer’s (below) profile earlier, the image has since been republished by various outlets across the web, including a high quality version obtained by Polygon (via VideoGamer).
Well, Injustice 2 is real pic.twitter.com/CVtXOVi6OV

The original game – Injustice: Gods Among Us – launched back in 2013 for last and current gen consoles as well as PC, and boasts a huge roster of DC superheroes to choose from, including the likes of Superman, Static, Bane and Wonder Woman. A sequel has been rumored to be in the works for a while now, but series developer NetherRealm Studios has had its hands full with releasing Mortal Kombat X and supporting it with post-launch content.
Of course, there’s every chance that some rather talented individual has doctored the above image, but that seems to be highly unlikely – the official NetherRealm and Warner Bros. logos can be spotted in the bottom right corner, and a new game reveal from the developer has been expected for a while now. Injustice 2 fits the bill rather well.
Have you gone weak at the knees yet at the prospect of being able to live out your dream DC match-up in glorious current-gen visuals? Of course you have.
