The Humble Bundle, which allows gamers to pay as much as they want for a set of games, has a new offer that features some of the best indie games in recent memory. Guacamelee! Gold Edition, Dust: An Elysian Tale, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams and The Swapper are all available to those who pay at least a penny.
Activating these games on Steam requires paying $1 or more, while beating the average donation, which is currently at $4.15, will give players two additional games, Antichamber and Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine. More games will be added to the beat-the-average list in the coming days. The soundtracks for each of these games are also included in the bundle.
The Swapper, Guacamelee! Gold Edition and Dust: An Elysian Tale are among the best reviewed PC games of 2013. If that’s not enticing enough, part of the proceeds from sales will go to the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the Child’s Play Charity, which gives games and consoles to sick children. The rest goes to the developer and the Humble Bundle site, with buyers given their opportunity to designate how much of their money each group receives.
It’s a pretty great concept and if you’re at all a fan of PC gaming, I highly suggest that you check this package out.
