Regardless of whether it returns for a third season, Warrior Nun has earned its place in history.
The campaign to save the show is far from the first to emerge among fans, but it may be the most passionate. Sure, fans calling for the Snydercut kept it up for months, but the Warrior Nun fanbase has done far more to make themselves heard. As the campaign continues trudging on in the background, former showrunner Simon Barry took a quick break from championing his Halo bearers to take aim at Donald Trump and Kid Rock. As if we needed more reasons to appreciate the man.
It’s not overly surprising, even among audiences who desperately wanted to enjoy it, but Amazon Prime’s Rings of Power wasn’t nearly as popular as the streamer wants us to believe. It’s not nearly as terrible as some viewers would have you believe, either, but the eye-wateringly expensive show didn’t manage to hold onto the bulk of its viewership through season one, which doesn’t bode well for season two and beyond.

Simon Barry takes a break from Warrior Nun to target Kid Rock and Trump
Simon Barry’s been busy, of late, as he continues to urge the Warrior Nun fandom on. The former showrunner took a brief break over the weekend from his tireless attempts to save his show, however, to take aim at a pair of divisive “political” figures. Barry jokingly responded to a tweet asking commenters to name a band consisting of Donald Trump and Kid Rock with the absolutely perfect “Sadfinger,” and, in the process, proved once again that his political takes are nearly as engaging as the shows he creates.
Several fantasy favorites are among the worst PC ports of all time
Awful PC ports are at the forefront of gamers’ minds, at the moment, as we continue to reel from the utterly atrocious attempt to bring The Last of Us to PCs. The terrible port is, unfortunately, one among many, and a few fantasy favorites found their way onto the list alongside The Last of Us and Arkham Knight. Releases like Final Fantasy VII and Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition may have been stellar on consoles, but by the time they made their way to PC they were unrecognizable, with so many issues weighing them down they hardly qualify as games — just annoyances.
Rings of Power viewers didn’t hang around for the finale
Each fresh tidbit about Amazon Prime’s Rings of Power seems to shed a worse light on the fantasy epic. Plenty of viewers desperately wanted to see the show succeed — with us included in their ranks — but hope and dedication isn’t enough to make a lackluster show good. Viewers apparently made their thoughts on the series clear as it was airing, according to recent reports, which seem to show Rings of Power’s viewer rate plummeting as the season went on. Terrible viewer retention doesn’t jive well with the sky-high budget behind Amazon’s release, which could spell bad news for season two.
