Night School Studios’ highly anticipated sequel to their 2016 indie breakout hit Oxenfree is primed to hit shelves July 12. Oxenfree II is being released for the wallet-friendly price of $19.99, but any prospective player with a Netflix subscription can get the title for free. That’s right, for free! Night School Studios is just one of many indie companies that the streaming giant has picked up over the years, and they have a little-known boon for mobile gamers.
How do I play Oxenfree II on Netflix?
Netflix users with Android phones or tablets running 8.0 or later, and Apple users with iOS or iPadOS 15 or later have access to a library of free games. Simply download the Netflix app on any of your mobile devices, navigate to your preferred profile, and select the game you want to play. The app will navigate to the store appropriate for the OS and, voila, the game is yours once it’s been downloaded. Oxenfree II releases on Netflix on day one.
