Coming off the recent announcement of Guitar Hero Live, which is set to be a reboot of the iconic rhythm game series, Activision and developer FreeStyle Games have released a tantalizing new trailer that provides some information regarding the revamp that the franchise is receiving.
The robotic camera used to record the first-person live action scenes that make up the game’s story mode is displayed, along with GHTV, a streaming service of downloadable songs. The developer’s goal with GHTV is to provide an extremely broad selection of playable songs, so no one’s musical tastes are left out. Finally, the new guitar controller is also showcased, which will sport two rows with three fret buttons each instead of the line of five buttons from previous games.
We will continue to keep you updated on Guitar Hero Live as more news breaks, but for now, check out the new trailer above and let us know what you think.
