Now that the futuristic war detailed in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has taken its bullet-based toll on some arctic-themed locations, it’s time for the high-tech soldiers to plan for yet another deployment.
Through press release means, Ubisoft has unveiled the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Raven Strike DLC Package, which will offer something different in comparison to its chilly, multiplayer-focused predecessor. That’s because its primary focus will, in fact, be single player content, adding three unique missions to what was already a great campaign. However, since the publisher deemed that wasn’t enough to charge 1200 Microsoft Points ($15) for, the digital add-on will also include a new Guerilla mode map.
Based on Ubisoft’s brief description, we know that this new add-on will be something that fans of old-school Ghost Recon gameplay will want to check out;
“A throwback to traditional Ghost Recon gameplay, Raven Strike features larger maps, complex missions and an increased level of difficulty,” reads the release.
Below, you’ll find details regarding the four aforementioned offerings:
Raven Strike DLC content includes:
3 new missions in Campaign Mode
• Secure Dawn: a foggy marsh in Kazakhstan where the Ghosts will not be allowed access to advanced technology (no optical camouflage, drone or sensor grenade)
• Cold Walker: a train depot on the Russian countryside
• Argent Thunder: a nighttime urban setting in Moscow1 new map in Guerrilla Mode
• Sawmill: face 50 waves of enemies on a foggy Russian countryside
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier‘s Raven Strike DLC will deploy onto Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network on September 11. A PC release will occur afterwards, but a date has not been set.
