It won’t be long now before the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier beta begins, giving folks who kept their copies of Splinter Cell: Conviction (a very good game in its own right) a chance to get more use out of it. Fans of tactical shooters have been waiting a while for a chance to test out Ubisoft‘s much-anticipated series revamp, which has seen its fair share of delays.
Gamers who decided against picking up Splinter Cell: Conviction will have two other chances to earn a place in the aforementioned beta test. Pre-ordering a copy of Future Soldier before GameStop closes on this very day is one way to earn a virtual pass, while subscribing to PS Plus is another.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will deploy onto consoles on May 22. The expected start date for this beta is this Thursday, April 19.
