One of the only Final Fantasy titles that never came to North American shores in its native Super Nintendo cartridge format, is about to make an appearance on our PlayStation Network servers. Though it was previously only revealed as a set in stone release in Japan and Europe, the ESRB has released an official rating for Final Fantasy V. This rating makes the previous announcement all the more official.
The job-centric role-playing game will make only its third appearance in North America, having been released previously as part of the Final Fantasy Anthology (PS1) and as the expanded stand-alone title, Final Fantasy V Advance (Game Boy Advance.)
Now, classic RPG fans and collectors can not only look forward to the release of Chrono Trigger on PSN, but Final Fantasy V as well.
Happy turn-based fighting!
