A new playable character is headed to Epic Games’ MOBA Paragon this month. Sword and board user Greystone is described as a “noble force” who fearlessly “leads his team into battle.” Creative director at Epic Steve Superville also confirms in the announcement post on Sony’s PlayStation Blog that those who are already able to play Paragon through early access will get to try out the new fighter from next Tuesday, July 12.
Greystone is a “fighter who thrives in team fights and excels on the front lines,” says Superville, further explaining that through use of his “Assault the Gates” ability, the warrior can “close the gap on high-priority targets,” whereupon “Greystone then activates ‘Make Way’ dealing damage in an area around him. He doesn’t mind taking a few blows since his ‘Stoic’ ability grants him passive bonus resistances.”
If, for whatever reason, players fall in battle with Greystone though, they can activate his ultimate ability ‘Reforged,’ which sees him resurrected on the spot of his last death to continue the fight.
