Fans of physical media rejoice! The recently released digital title DuckTales Remastered will be receiving a full retail release this November. The WayForward developed title will appear on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U.
Based around the classic animated series, DuckTales was one of the better licensed games to be released on the NES. Now, for the first time in twenty years, you will be able to purchase a game based around DuckTales on store shelves. Retailing for $20, DuckTales Remastered will officially release on November 12th. It is worth noting that this price is $5 more expensive than it would be if you purchased it digitally. Obviously this price increase can be attributed to the cost of putting it on a disc and creating a case for it, but it’s worth noting regardless.
In our review of the title, we concluded that DuckTales Remastered perhaps was way too difficult for its own good. Although the game was lovingly crafted by the folks at WayForward, their adherence to the difficulty of the games of old sullied what could have been a much more enjoyable experience.
