Bandai Namco has confirmed a slew of pre-order bonuses and special editions for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in a recent press release. The publisher is promising the upcoming sequel to the original released last year to be the “biggest Dragon Ball videogame experience ever” when it hits Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 25. A Steam version is due to follow a few days later on October 28.

Anyone who pre-orders the fighter will receive an exclusive playable character from the ongoing Dragon Ball Super series, as well as the ‘Tao Pai Pai stick’ vehicle. For those that want to “take it to the next level,” the game’s Deluxe Edition will set you back $89.99, but comes packaged with a season pass, which will include additional characters, story content, quests, costumes and accessories, to name just a few.

If that doesn’t do it for you, how about going the extra mile to nab yourself the Collector’s Edition, which weighs in at a whopping $149.99, and includes an exclusive Steelbook case, art book, game soundtrack and a “highly detailed” statue of Super Saiyan Goku all placed neatly in a collector’s box.

In his review of the original game for WGTC, Paul Villanueva said that “Dragon Ball: Xenoverse may not be the perfect Dragon Ball experience, but it is absolutely the perfect foundation for one.” Assuming developer Dimps can improve upon all the faults found in their first effort, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 could be a surprise hit of the year.
