Frank West will soon be making his glorious return to the Willamette Mall in order to smash some zombie heads together in Dead Rising 4, but judging by the announcement made by Microsoft today, that’s not the only thing he’ll be doing come December.
Announced via the Xbox Wire blog, Microsoft has revealed a Deluxe Edition for the open world survival horror as well as a Season PassĀ and its contents. The Deluxe Edition, which is available to pre-order now, will set you back $79.99 and comes with a veritable feast of extras including an 18-hole mini golf course and the “exclusive” Stocking Stuffer Holiday Pack.
Running with the tongue-in-cheek name of Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf, the DLC will have courses spanning the entirety of the Willamette Memorial Megaplex Mall and will ditch traditional golf gear in favor of whatever club-shaped weapon Frank can find as well as a giant golf ball.
Other post-launch content includes Dead Rising 4: Frank Rising, a story-focused expansion that sees Frank infected with the zombie virus once more and his attempts to find a cure before it’s too late.
The season pass and all of its contents will be available to purchase separately for $24.99 or as part of the aforementioned Deluxe Edition. Dead Rising 4 launches for Xbox One and Windows 10 on December 6.
