Gamers who’ve yet to pick up and/or play NAMCO BANDAI’s incredibly difficult Dark Souls may want to wait until October before doing so. That is, if they plan to do so through console means, because the spooky month will bring with it Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition. Available through Steam now, the new version of the popular RPG contains its core campaign, as well as its new Artorias of the Abyss DLC.
If you already own a copy of the beloved title and don’t feel like forking out extra dough for another retail disc, then you can simply purchase the extra content pack once it becomes available through your console marketplace of choice.
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will come to consoles on October 28, so mark that day on your calendar. In addition to that, keep checking back for our review of the PC version which will be up in the very near future.
