Coming This Fall, NBA Baller Beats Will Combine Kinect Scanning With A Real-Life Basketball

Expected to launch this fall, NBA Baller Beats should arrive just in time for the next season of National Basketball Association action. What it promises fans of the sport is a chance to perform like a professional player would, with the assistance of a real-life ball. They can train with a superstar player, while competing in challenges set to the tune of licensed music, which will act as a movement indicator. Of course, it's those movements that are the key to success, as the game will use Microsoft's Kinect motion sensing peripheral for full body tracking.

If your living room happens to be carpeted, there’s no need to worry. It’s been said that NBA Baller Beats will work on that surface type. You can also use another type of ball if need be, but the game will apparently launch with its own basketball. That will make this the first Kinect-exclusive game to require a physical accessory.

REAL BALL. REAL SKILLS.
