After debuting prior to Sunday’s Super Bowl extravaganza, Sony’s thirty-four second TV spot for The Order: 1886 has hit the Internet.
Blending 1800s architecture with werewolves, steampunk aesthetics and lots of explosions, this short advertorial glimpse does a decent job of piquing one’s interest. Of course, in typical fashion, positive quotes from different outlets are interspersed within, in order to help reinforce consumers’ need for the product.
As someone who loves video games and classic horror movies, I feel like I’m part of The Order: 1886‘s prime audience. However, there’s just something about the game that makes me worried. It has the potential to be great, and I sincerely hope that it will be, but it’s hard to not feel like there’s something off about it.
The Order: 1886 will launch as a PlayStation 4 exclusive on February 20th, and is available for pre-order now. Stay tuned for our detailed and unfiltered review, which we’ll be publishing around that time.
